This Privacy Policy explains how Solis Films LLC d/b/a GlassFire ("GlassFire," "we," "our," or "us") handles the information you provide when you join the Glass Captions beta or launch-notification list. GlassFire is the data controller responsible for that information.
What we collect
When you submit the signup form, we collect only what you choose to give us:
- Email address (required).
- Name (optional).
- Role / use case (optional) — e.g. house of worship, live event, broadcast, AV integrator.
- Platform (optional) — macOS, Windows, or both.
- Languages you need (optional).
- Whether you want to beta test Glass Captions.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not ask for payment details on this site.
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- Add you to the Glass Captions beta or launch-notification list.
- Send you a confirmation email and, if relevant, beta access and setup instructions.
- Email you product and launch news (no spam — beta news only).
- Understand who is interested so we can prioritize features and languages.
Where it's stored, and who processes it
Your information is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Confirmation and notification emails are sent using Resend. These providers process the data on our behalf as service providers. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you remain on the list, or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we will remove you from active mailing and retain only what we need to honor your opt-out.
Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe / opt out at any time by replying to any email from us or contacting us below.
- Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us at the address below.
To request deletion or exercise any right, email hello@glassfire.co and we'll take care of it.
Children
Glass Captions and this site are intended for business and professional users and are not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
